People admire nature, yet remain fundamentally reliant on the unnatural. In this work, I incorporate natural elements—plants and flowers—into the living space through the medium of a domestic chair. Simultaneously, the wooden chair attempts to climb higher, as if striving to return to its original state as a tree. Looking up at the piece, a forest canopy unfolds before the viewer. Through this composition, I explore the subtle unnaturalness embedded within structural regularity.

人々は自然を称賛しつつも、根本的には「非自然」なものに依存し続けている。本作品では、家庭用の椅子という媒体を通じて、植物や花といった自然の要素を生活空間に取り入れている。同時に、その木製の椅子は、まるで木という本来の姿に戻ろうとするかのように、より高いところへ登ろうとしている。この作品を仰ぎ見ると、鑑賞者の眼前に森の樹冠が広がっていく。この構図を通じて、私は構造的な規則性の中に潜む、微妙な「不自然さ」を探求している。
