The city is adorned with a variety of elements and the colors they carry, together shaping its unique character. Even when walking through the streets without much thought, we may unconsciously cut out fragments of scenery and store them in memory. I attempted to take out these memories as if they were pieces of cut paper and reconstruct them into new landscapes.

In many Taiwanese houses, small and vividly colored tiles are used, arranged in ways that are both orderly and free. Even in the minor structural details of the buildings, one can sense a rhythm unique to Taiwan. At certain moments, I pause, giving myself time to gaze intently at something that happens to catch my eye. I find myself contemplating shapes and colors—simple yet singular aspects of life that embody uniqueness.
