This work derives from the act of observing a city.
As I walk down the street, the entire cityscape unfolds before me, yet my brain retains only the small fragments where my gaze happens to land.
My eyes are unconsciously drawn to shapes and colors—the imagery of signboards, the contours of windows and roofs—capturing elements that pass through my vision and linger in my memory.
In this layered drawing, I weave these fragments of memory together with my imagination.

本作は、都市を観察するという行為から生まれています。
道を歩くとき、私の視界には街の風景全体が広がっていますが、脳に記憶として残るのは、私の視線が向いた先にあるほんの一部に過ぎません。
看板のイメージや窓、屋根の輪郭といった形や色へと無意識に目が向かい、視界を通り過ぎながら記憶に留まった断片を捉えているのです。
この層を重ねたドローイングにおいて、私はそうした記憶の断片を自らの空想と編み合わせています。
